1. What is Turkish e-Visa?

Turkey e-Visa gives official permission to enter and travel within Turkey. It is an electronic document that can be applied for online by filling and submitting the complete visa application e-form and paying the prescribed fee. There is no requirement to submit original passport and other documents for processing e-visa application. At ports of entry immigration officers can verify your e-Visa on their system.

You are advised to keep your e-Visa with you either as a soft copy (tablet PC, smart phone, etc.) or as a hard copy in case of a viewing request on behalf of an immigration officer.


2. Can I apply for a student or a job e-Visa?

e-Visa is valid only for tourism/travel purposes. For other purposes such as work or study, an application through one of the Turkish Embassies or Consulates must be submitted by yourself. To work in Turkey, you must apply via the nearest Turkish Mission to obtain a work permit and visa.


3. Do I need to enter Turkey on the exact dates mentioned on the e-Visa application form?

No. The validity period of your e-Visa begins from the date specified in your e-Visa. You can enter Turkey on any date within this validity period.


4. How do I access the e-Visa?

5. How much does an e-Visa cost?

The e-Visa Embassy standard rate ranges from between 20USD to 99USD depending on the country of origin (nationality) of the applicant. This website charges a listed fee in addition to the standard visa rate, this is to cover the support provision in place. Please refer to the listed fees to identify additional support services provided. The fee indicated above is for one applicant only, for family or group multiple applications you have to calculate the fee accordingly.


6. How many days is a Turkish e-Visa valid?

Turkish e-Visa issued with the validity period of 90-180 days depending on the nationality of the applicant. The visa on arrival at Turkey is issued with multiple entry status.

8. Can my children (dependants) travel on my e-Visa?

Yes, kindly use his/her ID information alongside your personal information when completing the online application form. Please use your child's (dependants) identification data requested at the time of of completion when adding another traveler to your application. There are no exceptions regarding age.


9. What happens if I can't locate the email with my Turkish e-Visa confirmation?

Upon successful application you would have received the e-Visa confirmation via the given email account. If you haven’t received it, please check your spam folder.

10. My travel dates may change, should I apply for change of date on my existing eVisa?

No, yor visa in no longer valid after the specified time period. You must re-apply for yor eVisa to fly.
